Jace Primary School in Uganda

Bishop Joshua Murefu is an advanced student with AFMIN in Uganda. Recently, Alta and I had the privilege of visiting Jace Primary School, which is run by his church.

They started a kindergarten in 2001 with 4 children. Today there are 220 children up to primary seven. Most of the children are orphans – victims of HIV/AIDS and wars and even those who end up vulnerable on the streets due to the
divorce of their parents.

The church supports these children with school fees, clothing and by feeding them, which is not an easy task. Providing sufficient clothing is a problem. The the cost of the feeding and school fees is very high and the church struggle to make ends meet.

Future plans include the completion of a building for the vocational school to train student in block laying, carpentry, tailoring and computers.
