AFMIN LAUNCH 2007

AFMIN was launched in Uganda in 2007 with a “first attempt”, when 120 pastors and spiritual leaders gathered for an Advanced Leadership Training School in Kampala. Our training program consists of 4 years of AFMIN training and equipping of these leaders through multiplication impact.

We will be visiting Kampala again in September, when we will present an AFMIN On10 seminar.

Uganda, the land of order. I will never forget the first time I set my feet on the ground at Entebbe Airport, in September 2007. While standing in the queue, waiting for my visa, my whole body was covered in goose-flesh! I experienced a sense of “spiritual order”. There was something different about this country!

It was already dark when we arrived in Kampala. There were informal shops all along the streets. Later I would learn about the work ethics of the people. It is not unusual to find builders working under lights, even at 9pm. And it even appears that they are enjoying their work!

One thing that we have had to become accustomed to, wherever we stay, is the loud music which keeps one awake at night!. And this is not just any music, it is church music with singers filling the air with continuous sounds of joy and excitement.
