Five Tents for Uganda

Judea Harvest, an evangelistic organisation from South Africa, has donated 5 large tents for ministry in Uganda. These tents will be distributed in 5 regions around the country. Students of AFMIN in Uganda will benefit from this donation because these tents will be used for evangelism and church planting purposes.

Here Johan Cronje and Kobus Grobler, CEO of Afmin in Africa, are standing at a tent which is very similar to the ones heading for Uganda.

Uganda, the land of order. I will never forget the first time I set my feet on the ground at Entebbe Airport, in September 2007. While standing in the queue, waiting for my visa, my whole body was covered in goose-flesh! I experienced a sense of “spiritual order”. There was something different about this country!

It was already dark when we arrived in Kampala. There were informal shops all along the streets. Later I would learn about the work ethics of the people. It is not unusual to find builders working under lights, even at 9pm. And it even appears that they are enjoying their work!

One thing that we have had to become accustomed to, wherever we stay, is the loud music which keeps one awake at night!. And this is not just any music, it is church music with singers filling the air with continuous sounds of joy and excitement.
